Will it come out this year? Maybe around Xmas? Any clues yet?

D'oh! I meant to say Season 5 DVD. It was too late and I had too many Duffs. So, what I meant was: Will season 5 come out this year? Maybe around Xmas? Any clues yet?

Since Al Jean was barely involved in season five I think it's possible that we may see a shorter gap than we did with the others. Having said that, it seemed like Fox took FOREVER releasing even the tiniest bit of information about the fourth season, so who knows.

It is probably going to continue the annual release trend. Its probably the best marketing strategy... build up anticipation, and get great sales. But it still leaves many unanswered questions to keep us awake at night. Will DVD still be the chosen format in ten years time? Will the quality of the releases be maintained? Will they run out of colours for the packaging?

Hmm, thats a pretty valid point. I can't really comment on anything post-season 11, because I just stopped watching around that point. If anything, buying a season fourteen boxed set would be pretty interesting to me, having that many new episodes to view at my disposal. I know season one so well I don't even feel like watching it. Its the mid-90s episodes I am just dying to see again. It must have been five or six years since I saw "Lemon of Troy".
