Entertainment Weekly does it again!

Entertainment Weekly just put out another special issue that's all Seinfeld and has an episode guide, plus facts and stats about the show. It's a lot like the one they made last year, but updated to include reviews of this seasons shows. I got it in the mail yesterday. If you liked the one they made last year, you'll like this one even more. By the way, they gave the episode that airs tonight, "The Puerto Rican Day" a "D", so that doesn't sound good.

Well they gave last week's The Maid a B or something, while they gave the Frogger one a D.

I liked the Frogger one, and didn't really like last week's, so they're opposite of me, so tonight's should be great! :-)

I thought The Frogger was good, and The Maid was excellent. Hmm

Looks like they just jumped on the "The new season sucks" bandwagon without really watching the episodes. "The Puerto Rican Day" was easily as funny as any episode aired this year, or any other.

Maybe this year, but not any other year. Dave, many of us watched the show and as I, did not find a joke worth laughing at. I am not going to post like Jason - but I think he's right.And you know I love the total of the 9 years. It is just that this past year has not had the same magic. Comparing this year to the syndicated shows that have just been run, Marine Biologist, Bubble Boy, Hamptons, etc - they were pure genius! Pretty hard to sustain that level of play - free agency and all that -

I agree The Contest has earned a reputation beyond its comedy impact because of its daring.

Jaded? I think not. There are three billion senses of humour out there. None of us has the right to say what was funny and what wasn't. It can only be funny or not to each of us.

They gave the Butter Shaver the *highest* grade? That's crazy! The Merv Griffin Show, the Reverse Peephole, The Strongbox, the Frogger, the Maid, and the Puerto Rican day were all great episodes. I really think the Frogger and the P.R. Day were done a grave injustice.

It cost $3.95. It's a regular issue of the magazine (not a separate issue), but is still available on newsstands.

are you sure, others stated that it was separate, like the TV Guide separate issue? What does the cover have on it? Pic of who? What Colors? Tell me more?

It is indeed a separate "Collectors" issue. The real EW this week has Ellen Degenerous (sp?) on the cover and it says "Yep, she's too gay." The special Seinfeld issue has a maroonish-border and the four cast members are on the front. The guys have on cool casual suits and JLD is wearing some weird dark dress. It's an incredible issue. It has all the ratings, writers, directors of every show (up until the clip show/finale), it has all the reason's Jerry's broken up with his numerous girlfriend, all the Monk's visits, all Kramer's ideas, all the time's Elaine has said "get out", bios on the main writers, directors, set designers, casting directors. It was cool.

Interesting fact: The casting director was the guy who Elaine kissed under the bleachers in last weeks episode.
