Festivus

Hey I'm throwing a party and I thought a great theme would be Festivus. I want to get all the details I can about the holiday. Festivus was celebrated by the Castanza family in episode 165, "The Strike". Does anyone know all the rituals they went through or better yet have a copy of the script?

  My recollection is that a space age aluminum pole is requisite to celebrate
Festivus (it requires no decoration -thereby making it superior to the
traditional Xmas tree).
   At the actual feast dinner,  I seem to remember that the two major events
consist of the "Feats of Strength"  and "Airing of Grievances"  (Frank had a
lot of grievances with you people.)
   (P.S.  I don't have this script-  and the transcript is not on the internet-
  what's up with that?!    I understand every single episode of Friends is on
the net in transcript form-  and all over the place.  Yet only a handful of
Seinfeld transcripts are up-   let's get to work hard core ! )
    Remember that above all,   Festivus is anti-commercialism.   Mr. Frank
Costanza inaugurated it in the wake of a brawl over an overhyped Christmas
present of the Cabbage Patch/Tickle Me Elmo/Beanie Baby type phenomenons.
Situations in which manufacturers seem to transparently create artificial hype
over a particular toy to drive up demand.  The press plays a huge role in these
shams-  probably because all of the serious journalists consider themselves
above doing stories on exciting new children's toys-  so the job falls to the
idiot nephews of newspaper and t.v. station owners,  who are easily manipulated
by toy manufacturers.   Newman is probably also somehow involved.

Where can I get those transcripts? ("Yet only a handful of seinfeld transcripts are up")

    There are a good number of sites-  for the most part they duplicate each
other,  although if you search around you will find an extra episode or two
transcribed now and then/ here and there:   -check "Drew's Script-O-Rama"-
he's got 20 plus Seinfeld transcripts in his television scripts area.  But
there are some up that he doesn't have.   As far as I know the transcript for
"The Strike"  is not up.   Also you can just do a search for "Seinfeld scripts"
 on the big wide open internet and quite a bit should come up.    If any of you
hard-core guys out there have web addresses at your finger tips,  please help
this solid citizen!
