Do George and Elaine really hate each other?

Yes. Watch any episode and you'll see they don't like each other (there's one episode in particular where Elaine pulls a hat down George's head that really illustrates this well).

	I think Elaine doesn't much like George, but George could like her.
Just last night in syndication was the one in which George was aroused by
Elaine's sexy comments to Jerry's tape recorder.
	But regarding how Elaine feels: Remember the one in which Elaine
threw George's toupee out the window?  George thanked her for it later.

There is the episode where her and George have nothing to say to each other when they are stuck together, but then there have been several episodes where her and George have been together and have gotten along fine. They went to the flea market together after all, and in last nights episode Elaine made it clear she was willing to go out and do something just with George, which would seem to suggest they were friends. I'm just not sure, I doubt she would associate with George if not for Jerry, but I think that her and George can be together without needing Jerry around. Of course George is really the only one of the main four characters that is actually afraid of Elaine, which probably means they will never be particularily close.

I think Jerry and Elaine ahould eventually get together ..they're PERFECT for each other!!

According to the show's timeline, Jerry and Elaine were lovers but had broken up by the time of the first season. Later, they tried a reunion and it didn't work. Basically, I think that if Jerry and Elaine started dating regularly, it would heavily alter the chemistry of the show, and we'd lose the current dynamics.

Maybe in the last episode, they'll fall in love and move to Florida? ;^)

I agree it would alter the chemistry. BUT I think Elaine is going to end up with George. Its building, it has to happen.

Besides I don't think Elaine is physically attracted to George, and well I will come right out and say it, you need to be physically attracted to your mate. The physical connection is just as important as the mental and emotional ones. If you aren't attracted to the person on all three levels, the relationship isn't going to work. And while I personally find George to be rather attractive, Elaine does not seem to agree. Still would you care to either post or email me the reasons you see this building. Who knows maybe you are right, although my money is on George and Susan actually getting married. Unlikely as it might seem.

no no no... I'm sure that when the show ends, susan and george will be married, AND Jerry and Elaine will be too. as for Kramer, God only knows....

they have been hinting at the elaine/jerry thing this season... watch for it.

I don't think that they'll end the show by having any of the regular characters get married. More likely events will occur which will require George, Elaine and Kramer to leave NYC and the characters will go their own separate ways.
