Hated it!. The season premiere almost put me to sleep. But then, I can't stand Brooke Shields, either. She doesn't know how to act.

I never watched it because I knew I hated it, and I haven't even seen a preview. Now, didn't you wish you had the ability to decide if a show is good before watching it. It saves me a lot of time.

I didn't watch it either, knew I would hate it. Can't stand Brooke Shields either. Rumor is that her significant other, Agassi (SP?) is pissed about her posing for the cover of a magazine with nothing on! He seems to get pissed about her alot. It's a wonder he didn't put up a fuss with her new TV series!

I'm really surprised so many people hated this. I only saw the first show, but thought it was cute. At least everyone isn't sleeping around like in other shows. And I definitely think (if just one show can be an indication) that it's better than The Single Guy.

You said it. I'd take OUR Susan (Heidi) back in a minute and send Brooke back to Calvin Klein. ("Nothing comes between me and my Calvin's. Except my hand")

I think Brooke is pretty good in this show, and it's coming along. As the characters develop, it probably will get better. (Remember, Seinfeld was a sleeper for the first couple seasons.)

Besides, I find it much more entertaining that lots of the other stuff that's enjoyed long runs -- Alice, Roseanne, Cosby and One Day at at Time leap to mind.

Give it a chance.

My one complaint: the smart-alecky woman reminds me too much of the smart-alecky one in News Radio, both in apapearance and demeanor.

That smart-alecky woman on Suddenly Susan, wasn't she on the "Charles Grodin" episode of Seinfeld. God, she was annoying then, too!

And what was with the promos for SS? They gave me the impression that the show was going to be about a klutz!

I've always been in love with Brooke Shields and I'm not giving up on her now.... every great show struggles to create their own identity for the first year... next year you'll be taping it! And how would you know that it's a bad show? You must watch it.... I know deep down inside that you can't get enough of that show, you just wanted to complain about something and decided to pick on poor ole' Brooke baby! It's ALL terrible!

I personally can't stand that show. The theme song is a cheap knock off a timeless classic and the characters are a rip off of characters from other shows. For example that red head is a cheap imitation of the red head in News Radio just more annoying.

Hated it! I don't understand why it's so high in the ratings! Maybe it's just the time slot (being after Seinfeld). I think that's how it was for Caroline in the City. Now that it's on Tuesday nights, the ratings have dropped.

There's a lot more to say but it would take too long.

It was a disaster! The show's PR people must have realized what a bomb they have on their hands and went to CNN's Headline News and convinced them to do a story on how great the show was and what a talented comedian Brooke Shields is - gag!!!!
