But Seinfeld's Finale, was 110% funnier than Ellen's Finale, you have to admit that.That was the lamest serries finale ever made.

Come on...the Moesha finale was even funnier than Ellen. :>

How can you even put these two shows in the same category as Seinfeld? Ellen compared to Seinfeld? And D&G - a show that had to use the Seinfeld finale as part of there own story line. You have got to be kidding!

As for Ellen, I liked that show when it was "These Friends of Mine," precisely because it had sort of a Seinfeld-esque vibe. But after it devolved into a "I Love Lucy"/"Laverne & Shirley" descendent, I tuned out real quick. I actually liked it slightly better after Ellen came out as a lesbian (at least the show finally had a direction!), but really didn't enjoy that phase much either. And yeah, the Ellen finale was a lot less daring and brilliant than the writers obviously thought it was.

For what it's worth, my favorite series finale in recent times was the final "Wonder Years." A real lump-in-the-throater. <shrug>

The funny part about Dharma and Greg was that Paul Reiser joked that the season finale of Mad About You would have Paul and Jamie watching the final Seinfeld. Then I see the same plot on D&G!
