quality of season

I, like many others I'm sure, am tired of hearing how "awful" "Seinfeld" is this year. I think that the show is still good but it's different than it used to be. Things change; it's inevitable. I'm just glad that "Seinfeld" has been on, in any of its forms. I suspect that part of the reason why people are having a hard time accepting the new "Seinfeld" is that they are watching the shows from past seasons (in syndication) as well as the current shows, and the contrast is evident--to some, it's severe. The characters seem a little different than they used to be, but that's just how things go.
