Susan will return in some capacity next season, possibly as a ghost to haunt George.

Fan predicts Susan's death will lead to supernatural haunting storylines with George next season, arguing the show traditionally leaves plot threads hanging and Susan will return in some capacity.

I think that Susan's death is a setup for even more bizarre happenings next season. With George being as paranoid as he is, can you imagine him not worrying about Susan. Remember the doll that looked like his mother? Can you imagine a full fledged haunting? Susan appearing in a Obi-Wan glow, to torment George for the rest of his life (or untill he loses his mind).

I just can't belive the consequences of all of this are over. Seinfeld traditionally leaves things hanging (no pun intended) from show to show. I enjoyed the episode, but it felt like it wasn't the whole story. And, of course, that's what the finale of a season is all about. Whether your a hardly watched show, or Seinfeld, you want people to talk about the finale. You want people to be anxious to see next years premier episode. That's the whole name of the game.

I do think that Susan will be back, at least in some capacity, next season
