I think the funniest part about the whole episode was that Jerry instigated every encounter . . . and never paid the price for it. He nailed Elaine with the concept that her "perfect" boyffriend might not agree with her. And since she is so shallow, she HAD to ask. Subleties like this make "Seinfeld" still enjoyable.
