Kramer on the Dating game

I saw recently on Real Tv a clip of Kramer on the Dating Game. It was filmed about 30 years ago, Michael Richards was Hilarious as usual and it was obvious that he was really Kramer even then. Incidentally, Jim Lange the host, mentioned that M. R. had climbed Mount Everest. Is that true? any info would be appreciated [email] Ps. Jay North (Dennis the Menace) was also on the same show, they both lost.
