My opinion

Ive read alot of peoples messages and have noticed many people are unhappy with this season. The only thing is that this season is more over the top than it used to be. The show used to have things that you could say "that has happened to me". Its getting harder to say that. That does not make it bad. In some ways I think it has gotten a lot more creative. Examples-Before instead of a neon sign, they might have used the sun as the source of nuisance. Instead now they use something that is a little more unbelievable. Thats probably because they cant do the same thing forever. The show had to change, probably because they were getting bored. Maybe now they will stay on longer.I think its so creative, I never know what they are gonna do next. Sometimes I think they get a little too over the top, but thats OK-I still love it

Seinfeld, like The Simpsons has lost some of their zing in the latter season. But thats expected. The programs have to evolve and change is not always good, but nevertheless Seinfeld still brings laughter into my life.....So does Friends...... btw if people do ever begin to doubt the Sein.....think of Ellen.....suddenly Seinfeld looks a lot better. In fact everything looks better. Does everyone agree Ellen bites, and isn't the slightest bit amusing.

Agreed! "Ellen" started out pretty promising, but lost it's edge with the departure of Adam, and most importantly, with the arrival of Audrey. She rates as probably the most annoying character on television, and has really hurt this show's ratings.

I think Ellen is quite funny. She's the only thing funny on her show, though. I liked it better when it was called "These Friends of Mine". Adam is missed.

Ellen used to be a really good show, but has gotten progressively worse these past two seasons. The only episode I can remember enjoying out of this season is the one where Ellen puts all her faith in her pyschiatrist, only to see her peeing in a parking lot. Of course, her friends give her hell about it (Joe: "I'm reading this great new book by.....I.P Freely!")

Ellen used to be a funny character, but now she's just turned "wacky". The whole storyline about Ellen's parents getting a divorce drags and was never funny in the first place. Personally, I don't care if they split up or not. But now, there are some "emotional" scenes involving the parents, where I'll sit there and think, "For the love of God, have something _funny_ happen!"

Hopefully, the season will pick up, like Seinfeld has.
