Why Not Seinfeld meets Homicide?

Wouldn't it have been more interesting if they had to emergency land in Baltimore and then the gang from Homicide could have done the investigating and prosecution?

Well, in case you can't guess from the title of the show (Homicide), to have this happen, Jerry, George, Elaine and Kramer would have had to have committed murder. And the gang from Homicide only investigates and solves murders - not prosecutes people from them. They're police detectives, not lawyers. You would have to get the folks from Law and Order for the prosecution.

But it would be kind of neat to see Frank Pembleton in the box with the Seinfeld gang - he would really make them sweat and cry! I wish Andre Braugher wasn't leaving the show.

about 2 months ago i posted MY suggested finale in the Law and Order newsgroup. Had a seinfeld/L&O crossover. had mccoy prosecuting jerry for all the offensive things he commited the past 9 years. many of the previous guests would have been questioned.

so i guess i was on the right track afterall.
