Let's start off in chronilogical order. NBC's retrospective was a mondo disappointment for me (and you, I'm sure).
As far as the final episode, itself, goes - I liked it, and I'll tell you why. I only started watching the show a couple years ago, so the show gave me some insight into some of the better episodes from before I watched it, episodes I always hear about. Because of that, I think the episode is better for those of us who haven't watched the show since the beginning, rather than you folks who have.
