Richards was on before 3rd Rock, which got lower ratings. People watched Richards, switched to something else, then came back a half-hour later for Frasier.

Take that, Lithgow.

I think 3rd Rock is absolutely horrible. Just listening to the characters talk (especially that Lithgow guy) makes me want to vomit. But I haven't vomitted in 13 years....

One hopes the network doesn't think that Richards' show brought down the 3rd Rock rating. But that may very well be what happened...

don't agree with you here. The first few seasons of 3rd rock were very good.. The problem is that the whole show drives on the fact that the characters are alienated from earths social processes and interaction. I guess that after a few years the writers are having difficulty making up new jokes :)

Why in the name of God they put it against Millionaire I'll never know. Never the less, it will still suck till the day it is cancelled, which should be after this season.
