Steinbrenner....

For a long time I've been wondering if the man with the cape (Frank Costanzas Lawyer in "The Pledge Drive" or "The Chinese Woman") is tha same actor as steinbrenner.

What is Steinbrenner's (the actor) name in real life?

Let's clarify this: Larry David is only the "voice" of Steinbrenner (and with his returning to help write the final show, Steinbrenner may come back, too--perhaps to rehire Costanza). The man who visually plays Steinbrenner (seen only from the back) is someone else entirely; his name escapes me now.

Do you happen to know if Fank Costanza's Lawyer, in "The Chinese Woman", is Larry's voice too?

I don't know about the Costanza lawyer, but I did find out the name of the guy who plays (but not voices) Steinbrenner. It's Lee Baer.

I read that at times Larry David did play Steinbrenner. The "role" was played by him and someone else. I forgot where I read this though... :)

You are correct, Maria.  While actor Lee Bear played big Stein
most of the time, Larry David has filled in on occasion.  It's
no big thing.  They just needed someone who's shoulders fit
the jacket.  I don't know which episodes starred David as
Steinbrenner, but it was at least one.
