Ha Ha Ha Defectors!

For all of you who recently told us you were jumping ship for Murder One last night, all I have to say is that I hope you DIDN'T have your VCR at work and that you missed a great episode!! (traitors that you are!!)

It was like the "old" Seinfeld that got us all hooked in the first place---topped off with classic Frank Costanza butting heads with a feisty Elaine. (I'm glad I had the foresight to go ahead and tape the show, even though I was watching it as it aired---I used to do that to rewatch Kramer's entrances and Elaine's "Get out!"s--- now I do it to rewatch Jerry Stiller---I can see his scenes a dozen times and laugh out loud each time!!)

For those of you who already posted how you didn't think last night's show was funny, I can't imagine that you thought ANY Seinfelds were funny---some people just don't get it...

I saw last night's show. I wouldn't call myself a traitor, nor would I call "The Dance" a great episode. In fact, it may have been the weakest one this season.

Yes, it was "like" the old Seinfeld in the same way The Single Guy is "like" the old Seinfeld: a pale imitation.

I wouldn't call it "classic" Frank Costanza, either. What the hell was that scene about, anyway? There was no build-up and no punch-line. It almost seemed like the writers planted that scene at the end as an attempt to salvage a few laughs.

I agree that Jerry Stiller has been involved in some of the funniest scenes on the show, but his talents were wasted in this one. I used to think Nike was cashing in on his Seinfeld fame for those Vincent Lombardi commercials--now I'm beginning to suspect the Seinfeld producers are doing the same thing!

It may be hard for you to imagine, but I do think some of the other Seinfelds were funny. Last week's Bizarro Jerry was a great episode. I'm not jumping off the bandwagon yet (or is it on?). I have faith that this season has many more funny shows in store for us, yesterday's episode not withstanding.

Oh, c'mon!!!! Did you SEE the first two episodes??? How could you even SUGGEST that they were better than last night's???!!!...

How can you even BEGIN to compare Seinfeld to that tripe---the only thing they even REMOTELY have in common is that they're both on Thursday nights!!!

Did Frank Costanza NEED a "build-up?" For those of us who LOVE this character, his sudden appearance at the end of the episode was an unexpected treat!! And the punchline (beside the punny "punching" of George on the forehead?...)? How 'bout, "So you're saying you want a piece of me?" YES!!! I would call that line and that scene "classic!"

I just couldn't disagree with you more...

Maybe you'll "get" next week's episode--- and if not, maybe Murder One IS for you...

Definately right, the scene seemed tacked on as an afterthought, but, by then, I didn't care too much anyway...

Oh I get it allright--there is no way that show can hold a candle to the classic Seinfeld's of the past!
