I just came back from a trip, and on my flight on United Airlines Seinfeld was shown both ways. It was a short flight; not enough time to see a full length movie, so they showed my favorite show. I was so surprised and happy!! Before they showed the actual episodes, they showed a "Behind the Scenes" segment of Seinfeld. It didn't really say much....mostly showed highlights of different episodes and brief interviews of the four actors. On the first flight, I saw "The Junior Mint" episode and on the flight back home I saw "The Bubble Boy" episode.
Watching Seinfeld made my flight much more enjoyable sitting in coach. The only disavantage was that it was showed during the food service, and the servers were in the way of my view of the screen some of the time. I am glad my experience wasn't bad like Elaine's in coach. It would have been funny if they had shown "The Airplaine" episode, but I knew they wouldn't. From now on, I will try to fly United more and hope they continue to show Seinfeld on flights such as the one I took. I recommend all you Seinfeld fans to fly on United too.
