Am I the only one who has to bite the bullet when Stiller is in a scene?For me, his bombastic type of comedy never fit the style of the show. Maybe it's because I've never found him (or his wife) funny, but when he's on the show suffers.

Oh YES! I thought I was the only one. In Sweden we just ran the episode "The Serenity Now" and it was a groan from start to finish. Definitely on my "five worst"-list, along with The Busboy, the Susie and a few I've managed to forget.

I saw "The Handicapped Spot" the other day and I just couldn't imagine the Jerry Stiller version of Frank being the same character as the Frank Costanza in that episode. It wasn't just a different actor, the whole character was different.

Jerry Stiller is great as George's father. He's even angrier than george. I love it when he starts bellowing. He complements the rest of the cast well.
I think he is good and fits in with the show. On the other hand, on King of Queens he does not seem to fit in well with the show and usually looks ridiculous.
