Has anyone seen Jerry do stand-up live or on comedy central? From the clips I see on the shows, he is not funny at all. I was just wondering if that is typical of his whole act?

I saw Jerry in Atlanta this summer. He was great! I agree, the clips that they have on the show don't come off as being very funny, but seeing him live was definitely worth it. I don't know when he's doing stand-up next, but Seinfeld fans should see him live.

Hey! I was just going to post an article about this. When I first saw Jerry it was on Letterman about 5 years before "Seinfeld". He was hysterical! He was on Letterman many times after that, sort of a regular guest the way Teri Garr was at one time. He was always funny, always in good form. Now, he seems to have lost something in his standup act. It just isn't that funny anymore.
He did the wry, observational humor then that he does now, but he did it better. He seems to be going through the motions now. I think he probably doesn't have enough time now to work on the act, refine the jokes, etc. Just a guess.

This too was years ago; does anyone remember Jerry's routine about finding a hair on the shower wall? He goes on and on, how people aren't bothered by hair if it's still attached to the head--they'll put their hands on someone's head to ruffle the hair, even kissing on the head occurs--but once it's off the head--in food, on soap, on the shower wall--it's a different story. I can't remember where or when I saw him do this, but it is hysterical.

I have seen a stand up act by Jerry on T.V. some time ago. It was a lot better than the clips seen on his show. His act was centred on how we always have "some thing to go to" and when we get there we have some thing else to go to. (e.g. I got to go, Better be leaving, Got to go to work, Got to go home, etc). I forget what station it was on. I believe that it was a station like A & E. I know that this station has stand-up act show on every so often.
