I don't think the dress would be just a uniform that she wears to work because that type of dress would not qualify as a typical uniform. Other reasons to why this is not a uniform is because she had her picture taken in it, went shopping in it, and went out to dinner in it. No one would do all those things in the same dress unless she had many of the same ones. With the fact that Jerry is obsessed with Superman, I think that we're supposed to realize that she is Superwoman. I hope she'll be a recurring character and come back soon so we can find out more.... and maybe next time she'll be in a dresssuit and wearing dark rimmed glasses. Ha ha!
