Whats so upsetting about other shows ripping off Seinfeld? Whenever a hit show consistently appears in the top ten ratings, its inevitable that copycats will spring up. Top notch writers will have to create what the current Seinfeld writers have already achieved. However, as with "bread", ideas do get stale eventually and popular shows dwindle to monotonous shadows of their former selves. I don't know whether the Seinfeld writers are burned out or what, but it looks like some fresh talent is badly needed to get some more hillarious situations as was during the previous 2 seasons of Seinfeld, or else the clones may win some desperate former Seinfeld fans. Of course if worse comes to worse and Seinfeld is eventually cancelled or retired, be sure to follow the careers of Jason Alexander and Michael Richards, as they will probably forever be typecast as their current portrayals, which really isn't so bad..is it?

Actually, I've like the episodes that they've shown this season, although Kramer hasn't had too many memorable parts like he did in the early seasons. But my favorite character is George. I don't know, he's just so funny and his spots are so natural and acted out perfectly (not to mention that great "snort" he does when he laughs sometimes - he did that as well on the Tonight Show and in Pretty Woman, so I guess it's natural - either way, it's hilarious). Elaine does that thing with her face that is getting rather irritating, but she's great when she's angry. Jerry and Kramer are great as well, I just don't like them quite as much as George at this point.

Jason Alexander already has has a pretty successful career in film, as well as his Duckman cartoon - in movies like Pretty Woman. Julia and Michael Richards also have their memorable spots in movies and TV. Jerry, on the other hand, will probably be doing comedy shows the rest of his life, and will probably end up having his own TV talk show. But that can (and usually does) change.
