The best punch line ever was when Elaine, while leaving Jerry's apartment, suddenly says "I'm going to visit my mother...she has my panties all laid out."

Elaine said that? I remember Jerry talking about it when he got that girl mad while she was talking dirty during sex, but I don't remember Elaine saying that. Mulva?

What I meant by "punch line" is best final line of the episode. Yes, Elaine said that, just as the show ended, and Jerry and George had shocked expressions on their faces, because they thought Elaine didn't know about what Jerry had said.

Or Perhaps the re-run shown tonight in OZ with the Pez dispenser. George is going out with the pianist woman and keeps saying it's great but he has no "hand". He thinks she's going to break up with him so he breaks up with her first but takes her back. She then finds out it was Elaine who laughed at the recital at the Pez dispenser Jerry put on her leg, so she breaks up with George because he lied to her and George says:

"You can't break up with me I've got hand."

She replies

"You're going to need it."

A crack up because George had been carrying on about not having any hand and he finally gets hand and is bragging to Jerry how, "A man without hand isn't a man.". Then he is completly destroyed in front of everyone.
