It wouldn't be Steinbrenner who would be lampooned.
Think about it - Bill Gates.
Gates (seen from the rear and acting like "Steinbrenner":
"Damn computer! Why are these things so complicated? Who made them this way?
Butler: "You did, sir."
"Me? ME??? I don't make computers. Seems like they could be simple, like toasters. And what is up with all these viruses and worms? How can a worm live inside a computer?"
Butler: "It's your Windows operating system that makes all that possible, sir."
"Windows? What kind of a name is that? Why didn't we call it Bob or Jake? People like personal names attached to machines. I call my cell phone Mikey."
Butler: (sighs.)
"I wanna play Pong. Can I play Pong on my computer?"
Butler: "Pong was on Atari, sir."
"Atari? What the hell ever happened to Atari? They used to be big shakes in the gaming industry, you know. Can I turn my computer into an Atari so I can play Pong?"
Butler: "That would require an emulator, sir."
"Emulator? Emulators are evil. I said so myself, so that makes it true. Emulators enable thieves to steal the intellectual property of others. That's something we'll address in the next version of Jake."
Butler: "Windows, sir?"
"No, thanks. I like it dark. Whatever happened to my old Kaypro? Now, that was a simple machine. I knew how to use that machine. Nobody needs more than 640K of memory, anyway. I said that myself, so it must be true."
Somehow, George would end up working for him, and the whole cast would move to Seattle, ala Laverne & Shirley. That would give them lots of new material to explore, like the culture shock of New Yorkers in Seattle.
