Since the summer I've watched every episode of "Everybody Loves Raymond". It airs on Mondays at 8:30. I think it is a real classic, funny show. I've seen half of last seasons (The first seasons) and all of this seasons so far. I really enjoy the show. Im not comparing it to Seinfeld, I don't want anyone to get the wrong idea. When It first came on television a lot of critics compared it to Seinfeld, that is why the show got my attention. The actor that plays Rays brother is Brad Garrett. He played the crazy mechanic on the Seinfeld "Bottle Deposits" episode. He is the scene stealer of the show, a guaranteed laugh when he enters the room. They use him sparingly on the show, like Kraner used to be used. He is a great TV character, and wanted to make you guys aware of the show. Any opinions from people who have caught an episode ,of the show? Jon B.
Everybody Love's Raymond
I saw it for the first time last night, and I thought it was pretty good. Not hilarious, but very watchable. The interaction between Raymond and his wife seemed to be refreshingly realistic for a sitcom. I did recognize the Brad Garret character as the crazy mechanic right away - he has such a distinctive voice! The funniest new sitcom that I've seen is "Just Shoot Me". It's all silly situations and one liners, but they get off some doozies. - DG

Other than Mr. Peterman's one liners on Seinfeld, I laugh 10 times more at the one liners on "Just Shoot Me." Of course, "Just Shoot Me" or "The Nanny" (another sitcom I laugh at more than Seinfeld) are not as witty as Seinfeld, but their individual characters' self-deprecating sense of humor are just what I need to make me laugh.

I hope they keep up the good work, it's nice to have a reason to venture over to CBS (I do admit, Touched by an Angel is a great drama, insert flames here_________)
Too bad about Cosby. it just isn't funny. Madeleine Caan (SP?) gets so many straight lines and the characters or writing just isn't right. If it was anybody but Cosby, the series would have been thrown overboard a year ago.
