seinfeld Library

                I, like so many others of you,
                have attempted to record
                every episode of Seinfeld
                I could get my hands on.
                Structuring; social obligations,
                doctors appointments, and the
                practice of 20th century hygiene,
                around the syndicated time slots
                in the evening.

                Alas however, my collection will
                never be complete or of the quality
                I desire.  This brings me to the
                question at hand.  Is there a
                resource available to secure
                the complete library of Seinfeld
                episodes.  I assume purchasing
                them from some one would be
                unlawful, but I don't know.

                In any event, I'm new to the group
                and this may have already been
                covered.  But if anyone knows of
                a person I could speak to or a site
                I should check out...I'd appreciated it.

Yeah!! Me too! I know I posted this same request earlier, but does anyone, please, please, please, anyone know how to acquire these tapes for money? Yeah, I know my signiture sucks, but give a guy a break here. Thanks, Sean

It is legal to record Seinfeld for timeshifting purposes, thanks to the Sony Betamax Supreme Court decision. Selling copies of the tapes could get one in serious trouble. And don't post any incriminating statements, please! You don't want the copyright cops to get you.

The bar association requires that I include a statement that I am not claiming to do better work than other lawyers, and in fact, I may be downright incompetent, yadda yadda yadda.

Guys, I've got just about every episode on tape (I'm only missing 6 at the most) and I'd be happy to make copies. As long as I don't make any profit, it's perfectly legal. All I'd ask is for the tapes (or money for the tapes) and return postage. Anyone wants some, just let me know!

I think it's illegal for someone to sell episodes for profit. Something about a copywright violation.

Best to just pick up that remote, turn on the TV and the VCR, click the 'Record' button, etc.
