Kramer rich???

Can anyone tell me what Jerry means in the episode when he states that Kramer "fell ass-backwards into money"? and that is why he doesn't need to work.

Jerry doensn't say it, George does. Jerry tells George Kramer is going to a fantasy camp and George replies with something to the extent of

"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2,000 to live like him for a week. Do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mouch food off your neighbors, and have sex without dating. THAT is a fantasy camp....."

Or something like that.

Kramer always seems to have money without having a real job. He claims only to carry only $100 bills, so I wonder how he pays for toll.

I believe rumor has it that he (Kramer) hit a big trifecta or something at the track...........................? Any other rumor or suggestions?
