I've recently started watching the re-runs on Fox in the Chicago area...it's my "new" favorite tv show.

Question: How did George's fiance die?

Unfortunately, in this age of politically-correctness, you'll probably never see that episode again, at least here in the US, thanks to those cowardly assholes trying to spread anthrax through the mail.

Those assholes are partly responsible true. But the people who sell the episodes in syndication didn't have to cancel the episode just because of the assholes who sent the anthrax.

I believe it was pulled from syndication rotation only during the period of heightened anxiety over the anthrax scare. I expect it'll reappear very soon.

Sure there was. It may not have been entirely sincere, but J. Peterman's catalog entry clearly blamed George:
