When lat heard from, David Putty was a Devils fan. That's the New Jersey NHL franchise. Yet when he reappeared this season, there was no reference to his fanatical devotion to the Devils, which went as far as painting his face red and acting like a lunatic. Since Putty lives in New York, logically he should be supporting the New York Rangers and not the Devils, who are across the river. SEcond, wouldn't Elaine, just to make small talk, at least ask Putty about the Devils? And how could Putty take a month off from his job, whatever that is, to accompany Elaine on a European trip? Just curious. Also did anyone notice that the intern referred to Newman as Mr. Newman in his notes? That is the first time New man was anything but Newman.

He's an auto mechanic. The only honest one in New York City. As such, he probably makes pretty good money.
