The History Channel (Its Canadian - is there one in the US?) showed a Vietnam war movie each night this week. So I made sure I taped and watched Platoon. At the beginning of the movie a newly arrived green recruit, Charlie Sheen, comes across the dead and rotting body of a soldier. He turns to the camera and throws up. Just like in The Fatigues.
