George's brother

I have seen 2 episodes where they reference George's brother.

One of them is where George won't pay to park at a lot..."my father never paid for parking, my mother never paid for parking, my brother never paid for parking...."

The second one was when George was seeing a psychic, she asked if the name ______ ( I can't remember the name) meant anything to him and George replied...."my brother once knocked up a girl with that name..."

Who, where, why isn't he mentioned???

I remember a while ago that I heard there were brief auditions for George's brother, but I think they decided to leave him out. I remember people wanting Jason to do both, people wanting Larry David to be the brother, people wanting "Gene" (remember, the Bizarro George?) to turn out to be his long-lost brother...it goes on and on. Folks wanted them to be exactly the same, to be complete opposites, etc. But I don't think they'll be bringing him in.

There was also talk that Ben Stiller (Frank Costanza's son in real life) was supposed to play George's brother. Does anyone know if this will happen next season?
