Today I had an experience that allowed me to get totally inside the mind of one of the characters for a moment. Remember when George gets engaged and Elaine goes nuts because George is such a loser, yet he is getting married and she isn't? I just found out one of my relatives is getting married, and suddenly I knew *exactly* how Elaine felt. Not that I necessarily want to get married, I just don't want this other person getting married, because he's basically a loser like George, so he shouldn't be getting married before I do.
I've always enjoyed Seinfeld, but this was the first time I actually related to what a character was going through in such a visceral way. It was a very interesting experience.
