NEW YORK (AP) - What's the greatest television show of all time? To the editors of TV Guide, it's "Seinfeld."
The 1990s-era comedy beat out "I Love Lucy" on TV Guide's list of the top 50 television shows ever.
Jackie Gleason's "The Honeymooners" ranked third. Rounding out the top 10 are "All in the Family","The Sopranos","60 Minutes," David Letterman's "Late Show," "The Simpsons," "The Andy Griffith Show" and "Saturday Night Live."

I would drop Sopranos. Yeah, kinda popular now, but 10 years from now nobody will even have remembered. And I don't think 60 Minutes belongs on a list like this.
Dump these two and replace them with M*A*S*H and Cheers.

Congratulations Seinfeld! I wonder how they decided on the rankings of the shows. Perhaps it was because of the *big* free advertising that Seinfeld gave TV Guide by featuring their Al Roker cover, having Frank Costanza be an avid collector of TV Guide, etc....

MASH first three seasons were clearly better than anything. But it did a nosedive after that.
