Tonight Show appearance

After several posts commenting on Jerry's appearance on BW, I'm surprised no one's mentioned Julia Louis-Dreyfuss' (apologies for probably mutilating the spelling) appearance on the Tonight Show, that same night. Or perhaps someone -did- post about it, and I just never got it or mistakenly missed it. Does no one watch Leno? Or did you all find it too lackluster to not merit a mention? I, for one, thought she was extremely entertaining; especially when she talked about what it was like to have a newborn in the house: "I never knew what sleep deprivation really WAS..." Did anyone else catch this, and think she was as great as I did? I had kinda expected to be disappointed, since other stars I admire who have appeared on the Tonight Show have been less than what I expected. But she was GREAT. They also showed a clip of last week's episode, where Elaine hasn't received her meal on the plane yet.

It's Dreyfus with one `s'. Aside from that you've got it right.

Aside from Leno continuing to interrupt her (what a lousy interviewer he is), I agree that she had a great appearance on that Tonight Show episode.

However, she *really* shined as host for the SPY 100 HIT LIST special last week -- she was hilarious! After seeing her carry that one so well, I've decided that she really needs her own talk show. That is, if that assertion *meant* anything these days. :-)
