Crazy Joe Davola

Hey.

Anyone know what ever came of Crazy Joe Davola? He didn't die when he jumped out of the bleachers at the pilot, did he? And what was it he said..."Death to tyrants" in latin, right? What was the latin, and where did he go?

No, he moved on, to terrorize Dr. Sam Waters in "Profiler" (one NBC deal the Sein didn't succeed in kiboshing for DeVola).

_Sic Semper Tyrannus_ - "the same also to tyrants." What Booth said when he killed Lincoln then jumped down from the balcony onto the stage.

The latin for that term is "Sic semper tyrannis", I believe... which was said by JW Booth when he leapt from the loge after shooting A. Lincoln.

He said "Sic semper tyranus" (spelling?), which is Latin for "Death to tyrants". John Wilkes Booth said it when he shot Abraham Lincoln. I don't think we've seen any more of Crazy Joe since then. I don't think he would have died after jumping, as the characters probably would have said something about it, especially Jerry as he was scared to death of him, or Kramer, seeing as Crazy Joe kicked him in the head.

crazy joe first met elaine outside of shrink's office (shrink she dated for awhile). He was seeing the shrink is why he was there, but she didn't know that. When she and the shrink were on vacation together, the shrink even mentioned that he was worried about a patient of his who needed his medication (crazy joe).

elaine starts dating him and jerry knew him, too, but elaine and jerry didn't realize that they both new crazy joe. Jerry bugged elaine to tell him who this Joe guy was that she was dating. The scene where they realize they're both talking about joe divola is one of the best ever.

They realize he's crazy and joe has made a shrine to elaine in his apt. she has to mace him to get out of his apt. It was one of the few scary moments i can ever remember on the show.

YES! The show got really freaky for that one! Crazy Joe IS a freaky character. One of the great things about the show - nothing is predictable!
