I don't really need an answer as I'm not that curious but I think it's a potentially fun trivia Q. Here it is:

In which episodes does Elaine turn to drink?

In the Wait-Out, she downs a glass of Hennigans at the end 'cause the guy she's after has reunited with his wife.

In the 'Vincent's Picks' episode, I can't remember the correct title, she walks off with a bottle of Vodka when she finds out Vincent's a pimply faced teenager.

In another episode, this is a sketchy memory, she leaves Jerry's apartment with a 6-pack of Bud.

In 'The Betrayal' she gets drunk with Jerry but this is different 'cause it's in a social situation.

Doesn't she drink in the episode were Jerry and Kramer think the laudrymat guy took is $1500 and George is fired. Doesn't Elaine drink with a guy so she can slip him a mickey? I think this was the first or second season and may be the first time she or anyone drunk on the show

In which episode does Elaine turn to Drink?

In the backwards episode,George plies her with Schnapps.She reveals Jerry's secret and gets her nose pierced.

These examples are more what I was talking about. It makes sense as a trivia question 'cause in later episodes a number of scenes end where it seems like she's about to tie one on. It's a recurring joke implying that Elaine is turning to alcohol because of her dating problems.

The examples I gave were: 1) In 'the Wait-Out' she slams back a glass of Hennigans when the Cary Elwes character reunites his wife. 2) In the episode with Milos the inept tennis pro and Gene's and Vincent's video picks, I don't know the name of the episode, she walks off with a bottle of vodka when she finds out that Vincent is a teenager. 3) There's another episode ('The Engagement' maybe?) where she walks out of Jerry's apartment carrying a six-pack of Bud.

She gets drunk in 'The Betrayal' but this is different 'cause the other scenes imply that she's turning into a drunk out of desperation.

Here's a good trivia question for somebody to answer: In "The Cheever Letters", Susan's brother is reading a newspaper at the same time that Susan, George, Jerry, and the rest of them are reading/listening to the contents of the Cheever letters. What is the byline on the paper?

The byline? Could you even seen a byline? Was there only one showing?

Maybe you're referring to the title of the paper, or a headline...
