Once nice touch, IMO, in this episode, is the scene where Elaine is telling Russell that TV is crap and he is trying to convince her that there is some innovation, and uses JERRY as an example. He says to her, "Here is a show that's about NOTHING." But when George had proposed this idea, Russell shot him down and GC had to do a 180.

Yes, and Russell used almost exactly the same words and inflection to describe it as George did. Also one of my favorite moments in a fairly average Seinfeld.
