9/9/99 - Jerry's ultimate special day

1999 is upon us and September will be here before we know it. Seeing as how 9 is Jerry's lucky special number, I think 9/9/99 should be declared some sort of holiday. After all, it won't happen again for another 100 years. So what should we do to make it special?

9/9/99 might be the end of the world as we know it and you want to celebrate Jerry's lucky number? Many programmers , in the 70's and 80's, that were near sighted put that date in their programs as an ending date. They figured 9/9/99 was as good as forver. It's the first big date in the whole Y2K thing.......

I'd say that would qualify as "special" depending on your own perception of the definition. Or something...
