Did Michael Richards receive any awards for his performance in this episode? I am a fan of George more than any of the other characters, but this must have been Kramer's finest 1/2 hour. His facial expressions were simply amazing and when it came to the song at the end with Mel Torme, he completely sealed this episode as a classic.

Richards was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1995, the year "The Jimmy" was aired. But he didn't win.
