elaine cheated

in the chinese restaurant, she was supposed to eat the eggroll WITHOUT saying anything to the people at the table!!! i had hoped that she would be more brazen than to whisper the 25$ bribe...

     Doesn't matter, she didn't eat the eggroll so she didn't get the money
     anyway!

     It's one thing when you cheat, but when you cheat and *still* lose...

I too was disappointed. When Jerry challenged Elaine, my friend and I got really excited, I guess forming an image of what was going to happen when she took the eggroll. What she ended up doing was really a downer in comparison to what I had expected.

But isn't this exactly what happens in real life? You're standing there waiting for a table, you're extremely hungry, and you start making comments that escalate into someone daring you to do something about it. While you're standing in the waiting area it seems quite logical to do and not all that far fetched. But when you get up there to actually do it, you chicken out, run back to your friends and laugh about it. I could see this happening to me.
