Can somebody explain...

I got really puzzled when I watched 'The little Jerry' because in one scene when Jerry is in his apartment he walks to his window, looks up and shouts 'Kramer I'm coming up'. What the hell is up there? Is it Newmans place or was he on the roof or something??

Kramer and the rooster were doing some kind of training on the roof I guess.

Maybe they were doing training on the roof, but Kramer & Jerry were bragging about how fast Little Jerry ran from Kramer's place to Newman's place. So IF Newman's place is upstairs- that's where Jerry was directing his conversation.

If the rooster is running from Kramer's to Newman's, they would have to be on the same floor, 'cause chickens aren't very good at climbing stairs. I think Kramer might have been on the roof.
