I have two questions about the latest show, "The Package."
1.In the scene in the Post Office, where Newman is questioning Jerry, and Newman is sweating under the lights, where they imitating a movie? If so, which one?
2.In the 1-hour photo shop that George went to to flirt with the girl at the counter, was the guy that was developing the photos the same guy who played Marsellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction?

1. The interrogation scene was a bald-faced copy of Wayne Knight's role in the movie "Basic Instinct," when a panty-less Sharon Stone slowly uncrossed her legs to the delight of male audience members everywhere. (Wonder when they'll reference Knight's role in "Jurassic Park.")
2. The actor who played Ron, the photo shop guy with a crush on George, was none other than George Foreman, former heavyweight champion of the world and currently an infomercial star. It was NOT Ving Rhames, the excellent actor who played Marcellus Wallace in "Pulp Fiction."

That is crazy. This scene just used elements of hundreds of interrogation scenes that have come before it. There was no reference to Basic Instinct, it would have been MUCH more obvious.

Generally, I think this scene is trying to play off the interrogation scenes found in many B level cop movies. Also, whoever plays Newman (something Knight) had a similar scene in Basic Instinct. Of course, that scene had Sharon Stone proving she was a natural blond....
That's what I thought went he first walked on, but I don't think it was the same guy. Anyone catch the credits?
Or that she knows how to use peroxide in two areas instead of just one.
