how many episodes

please end this debate between me and my friend here...how many seinfeld episode were made 170 or 180?

I'm going to say 170 episodes and my source is TV Guide Special edition mag. "Seinfeld Forever" that lists each episode and ends upwith The Puerto Rican Day 168, The Last Clip show 169, Series final 170.

Why yes Joe, since a two part episode is really only one script or a very only episode.

yeah but you have to tune in 180 times to watch it. Usually, they play a half-hour show at a time, don't they?

The official number is 180. According to some lists there are less. This is caused by the fact that some extra long episodes were cut in two, and became to episodes. The last clip show was two episodes, 177 and 178, the finale also were two, 170 and 180.

Part 2's intro was filmed for syndication. and The Clip Show from season 9 never aired on NBC accept once. Prior to the Finale on the last night and as a solid showing. therefore there was only 1 intro

Jerry doesn't mention the Episode quantity. So you could argue that Castle Rock/Sony decided that the total number was 180. because that is how it was sold for syndication.
