Does anybody know what brand of cigar Kramer smokes (or Newman for that matter)? It looks like Macanudo, but I'm not sure.

You must be joking. Macanudo cigars are the worst!!! They are for begining cigar smokers who can't appreciate the fuller flavor of a better cigar, like anything Cuban, La Gloria Havana (Miami, not Cuban), Dunhill, Paul Garmarian, 898, etc. etc.

There was one episode where Kramer does try to get some Cubans from the (Cuban embassy? - I forget exactly). Cohibas are one of the best cigars on the market and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Kramer tried to get some (although, in the above mentioned episode, Kramer did not succeed in getting any Cuban cigars).

Excuse me???? Macanudos are certainly *not* only for "beginning cigar smokers". Are you trying to tell me that the only cigars worth smoking are Cubans or other strong ones, unless you're a beginner? You've go to be kidding! I've smoked all sorts of cigars (Cubans, Dominicans, Jamaicans, etc.) and I think Macanudos are better than many Cubans I've smoked. They may be milder than most, but *certainly* worth smoking - beginner or not!

I think it stands up to the test of reason that he would smoke Cubans since he's always trying to get them.

But, my vote is for H. Upman otherwise.
