I was watching one of the first episodes that Newman (SP?) is mentioned, and Kramer is saying he is threatening to jump out a window, he is depressed and doesnt have a job. When did Newman get his job at the post office?

The Newman character is introduced in episode 12, The Revenge, but he is only off camera and the original voice was Larry David's. It was later dubbed by Wayne Knight for syndication.
Wayne Knight does not appear as the Newman character until episode 32, The Suicide, in which he is a postal worker.
