Fans recall an NBC rerun of The Boyfriend episode with Jerry's introduction where he mixes up the title, possibly aired before the series finale.

Hi all,

I remember one tim NBC reaired the episode The Boyfriend (the hour long with Keith Hernandez) with a short introduction by Jerry saying it was his favorite episode. i distinctly remember it because Jerry gets the title wrong and calls it "The New Friend" (and embrassingly, the real title is displayed just seconds later). Does any one else remember this?

The day Seinfeld ended, the syndicated epsiode was The Boyfriend (the full hour, not split in two parts). Your local station may have aired this before NBC aired the finale. The showing i am thinking of was aired on NBC before syndication. Thanks though.
