Suddenly, even Suddenly Susan looks good

I can't find the words to adequately describe the 10/10 episode. However, PATHETIC, HORRIBLE, UNFUNNY and a waste of network airtime. The first three weeks were bad, bad, bad. But last night was the WORST!!!! Can we just put everyone out of their misery and pull the plug now??? When Suddenly Susan actually looks good compared to Seinfeld, something is horribly wrong.

You have got to be kidding me--Suddenly Susan over Seinfeld? I don't know whether to laugh hysterically at you or have you committed to a psychiatric ward! If you didn't think the Bizarro episode last week was funny, then you're not a genuine Seinfeld fan to begin with. It was a classic and a major turning point for this season(the 1st two weeks weren't that great). Personally, I thought last night's episode was also quite funny--of course I watched it with an open mind(apparently unlike yourself). You're probably one of those "let's jump on the bandwagon and not like Seinfeld anymore" people who are really starting to piss me off. If you don't like the show anymore, that's fine and you're entitled to your own(albeit wrong)opinion. But don't come in here and tell everyone else that the show is dead and it's worse than that load of crap Brooke Shields puts on the air every week--that's ridiculous. Do the true Seinfeld fans a favor and go to alt.tv.suddenly susan and spread your insane posts there!

Would you kindly care to shove it?? I was merely expressing an opinion that the quality of Seinfeld has gone down tremendously, and it seems like they'll never get it back. As for "Suddenly Susan," it was merely an attempt to draw attention to this fact...I guess you could say I was being facetious. I realize "Suddenly Susan" is a piece of crap, and it bothers me to see Seinfeld heading in that direction. In case you haven't noticed, I am not the only person in this NG in the last several weeks who feels Seinfeld is headed downhill. I hate to offend your superior intelligence by posting my "insane" posts in here. I guess this is another "insane" post...oh well. As for your immature psychiatric ward comment, I guess nobody is entitled to their opinion unless they agree with you...

Watch a few classics like "The Red Dot" or "The Hamptons." Then honestly tell me if the new shows can hold a candle to the classics of the past--the answer is emphatically NO!

p.s. I don't bother with "Suddenly Susan" but "Frasier" is now easily the funniest show on TV, IMO...

In your opinion, not everyone's. Besides, what's the use of these arguments, "Well, it's not as good as 'The Contest', so it must suck! I hate this show now!" Try comparing it to a less than godly episode like those - or would that ruin your point? :)

I don't think you should go around using the phrase "classic Seinfeld" for every other episode. It should be reserved for episodes that truly stand the test of time and get even better when we see the rerun. We can't possible have 4 classic episodes so far this season.

Oh please, I probably have been watching Seinfeld longer than you have. This season is OK but definitely not as good as past seasons. I don't laugh as much as I do at the earlier episodes I have been seeing in syndication. This season doesn't suck, but there have been NO classic episodes so far this season either. You assume that anyone who doesn't agree with you is not a true fan.

Now you are the one who is telling it like it's a fact. And I think there have been at least two "classics" this season (the latest two episodes) and two respectable ones. Notice how I stated it like an opinion? Now I can have an interesting discussion with someone about it, even if they don't agree with me, instead of.....whatever it is you were having.

Yeah, right, I'm "obviously not a fan" because I think the quality of the show is going downhill. What does that have to do with being a fan? Does being a fan mean you have to blindly believe that something is funny when it's not. Well, actually, now that you mention it, maybe I am no longer a fan of this show. This used to be the funniest, most original show on TV. It now has dissolved into merely another 30 minutes of typical TV, with pathetic attempts of humor. Someone else made the comment that they felt like they wrote this last episode the day before they taped it. That's exactly what I was thinking as I watched it, desperately waiting for something funny to happen. Oh well, that's just my opinion...lighten up.
