Newman

I know that Newman has a role in 3rd Rock, but why don't the networks give him his own show?? I would think it would be an instant hit. Is there anyone in this NG that dosn't think he is extremly funny???

As a fan of both Seinfeld and 3rd Rock, I think Wayne Knight is extremely talented. However, I think he is best at being a character actor and playing off others. I think he wouldn't be nearly as funny as a lead character. IMHO.

The series was Assaulted Nuts and it ran on BBC (I think channel 4) It also re-ran on Showtime I think, a few years back. Emma Thompson also played in it if I remember correctly.

His bio says he was. I never saw it tho.

I think he's funny, but not funny enough to carry a show. I thought Adam Sandler was great in SNL, but he sure can't carry a movie... same principle.
