State of Seinfeld/This newsgroup.....Last Night's episode.....

Well, not classic, but very good(B+, A- range). I've seen som many negative postings about the episode, and I'm confused, this seaosn hasn't been great, but when it puts out a good episode, don't crush it.

The Betrayal, The Voice, The Slicer, The Dealership, and Last Nights episode have all been pretty good, and would have been considered good if they wer in any other season. And don't say I'm in denial about Seinfelds fall, it isn't as good as it was, but there have been some god episodes, and the episodes have gotten a lot better lately. I was onle of the people that first people that was yelled at for not loving the new epidoes......but i was even really giving the episodes a chance. if you try, you can find something wrong with any episode in any seaosn of an TV show. what's the point in watching TV if you are looking for problems with a show rather than enjoying it

Exactly right. Give the new episodes a chance, the final ten might be the best episodes of all time but according to this newsgroup, they can't be the best because all those episodes are in the "dreadful ninth season". I'm wondering if this was a planned thing that someone just thought up over the summer because there were only a couple bad episodes: The Butter Shave and The Blood, and there are a few clunkers in EVERY SEASON. I don't think this season is as good compared to season 4 or season 7, but still, it hasn't been a terrible season, and in syndication I bet at least 12 episodes of the "dreadful ninth season" will be favorites to those who don't know what episode goes in which season.

Next time I would prefer it that you don't speak for other fans. I've enjoyed many (not all) of the 9th season's episode, and I have looked at the big picture every single time. So, there goes your theory.

I guess the big picture to you is that Larry David left and that's it. Sure this season has been a major fall but "The Reverse Peephole" was a good episode. I think everyone should spend time hoping the last ten or eleven episodes are classics instead of thinking about how bad its gonna be compared to the older ones.

Not true. You articulate what you consider to be the lows, but you neglect the highs. You're very good at long winded posts, but length does not imply quality or accuracy. I suppose KKK propaganda would make sense if the pamphlet were long enough, right? And what does this 'ignoring the bigger picture' crap mean anyway? I can't enjoy an episode unless I place it in the context of the entire series? I can't think George's overstuffed wallet is funny because they didn't spend 9 episodes leading up to it?
