Any fellow UK Seinfeld fans watching Everybody Loves Raymond, it started on Channel 4 last Monday, it comes on at 07:55. If so, tell me what you think.
I've been wathcing it, I have noticed that a few compariosns have been made between this show and Seinfeld.
Can someone please give me some info on the show, like when it first aired, if it was big in America, is it still running, if not when did it finish

Not really, I know where your coming from but ELR does and has blatently stole ideas and jokes from Seinfeld. So its like comparing Porterhouse steak and packet of corn flakes that bleeds less the more you cook it.

Yes. Currently on it's 8th season.
I don't watch it very often... I think the main comparison is that "Everybody loves Raymond" kind of represented the last of the series of sitcoms that had leads who started their careers as stand-up comedians.

I like Everybody Loves Raymond. To me it's the same show as Seinfeld except that Ray is married and his parents are in almost every episode. Also, Ray's wife is way more of a bitch than Elaine is.
