Does Kramer have a job?

Does anybody know how Kramer supports himself financially?

A friend of mine told me that he had a trust fund, but I would really like some verification on this.

That's the one great thing about TV! As far as I know, Kramer doesn't do anything, nor has he inherited anything, but is still well off enough to live in a nice building in New York! I love it!

No, Kramer does not have a job. He does get short-term stints on occasion (like the horse-drawn carriage driver and the tennis ball retriever) but those are for pleasure, not for money. Kramer is independently wealthy, though they've never explained how he got that way. His mother is a washroom attendant.

In the fantasy baseball camp episode, George remarks how Kramer fell "ass-backwards" into money.

My guess is that he has inherited a small fortune. Kramers so rich he seeks out "careers" on the side for something to pass time. He very well could own the building Jerry, Kramer & Newman live in and collect rents through a third party!?!

Remember his Mom works as a restroom attendent so I think inherited wealth is very unlikely.
